Cup of Hope - After School Meal for Children

Supporting Local Community Efforts in Puerto Libertad

Global Good Samaritans supports the Franciscan Fathers and local volunteers in Puerto Libertad who provide nourishing meals and safe after-school spaces for children from impoverished families. Despite limited resources, the community has created a support network rooted in care and solidarity.

Seven local families open their homes three times a week to host 20–30 children, providing a warm meal and a safe place to rest and play.

The Franciscan Fathers and local volunteers coordinate the purchase and delivery of food, while Global Good Samaritans funds the essential food supplies.

Help for Children with Special Needs in Argentina

Your support offers more than immediate relief—it gives these children the chance for a healthier, stronger future and gives families hope that they are not alone.

For many families in the Puerto Libertad community, even the most basic support is out of reach. Financial hardship, insufficient  government help and extremely limited access to specialized services means that children with special needs face immense physical and developmental hurdles.

Children like Xiomara, Francisco and Zunilda, need treatment and specialized care to grow, develop, and maintain their health. Without support, families struggle alone, often traveling long distances to access services that still remain beyond their means.

Global Good Samaritans steps in to provide funding for vital medications, specialized nutrition, and hygiene products needed for daily care. We also cover the cost of therapy, medical treatment, and transportation to hospitals in larger cities where these services are available.

Life-changing Medication for Francisco

The eldest of nine siblings, 17-year-old Francisco faces the daily challenge of epilepsy. Without expensive medication and specialized hospital check-ups, his condition is difficult to manage. Global Good Samaritans steps in to cover these medical costs and provide a specialized diet, offering Francisco and his family much-needed peace of mind and physical relief.

Healthier Future for Xiomara

Three-year-old Xiomara lives with cerebral palsy in Puerto Libertad, where her single mother cares for five children. Because Xiomara requires tube feeding and a highly specific diet, her daily care is both complex and costly. Global Good Samaritans ensures she has the specialized nutrition, medical supplies, and therapy she needs to thrive, including transportation for essential hospital visits in the city.

Daily Comfort for Zunilda

Born with cerebral palsy, 17-year-old Zunilda depends on her mother and two sisters for every need. We provide the specialized nutrition, medication, and hygiene supplies essential for her daily comfort. Your support also helps the family navigate the 60 km trip to the city for her monthly neurological consultations.

Support Indigenous Guarani Families in Argentina

Guarani Indigenous communities live in remote regions of northern Argentina. These communities maintain a traditional way of life, living close to nature along river regions and preserving cultural heritage. They sustain themselves through small-scale agriculture, including crops such as yerba mate, beekeeping, basketry and woodcarving.

Working in partnership with Franciscan missionaries, who have established long-term relationships within these communities, Global Good Samaritans delivers monthly parcels containing food and other essential supplies.

For just $27, you can provide a month of essential food to a Guarani family in Argentina. We currently support 40 families through trusted local partnerships.
