Help Us Raise Funds to Support Our Mission

How Children and Youth Can Support Our Mission

We encourage children to get involved in charitable activities, fundraising, donations, and learning about the challenges their peers face in Africa.

  • School fairs – with children  selling handmade cards, cookies, or bracelets, where the proceeds go to an organization supporting orphans.
  • Sweet-free day – children give up buying a treat for one day, and the money is donated to help others.
  • Writing Letters and Drawings – Sending drawings, holiday cards, or letters with greetings to children in Africa can provide immense emotional support.
  • Prepare presentations about the lives of peers in Africa to teach empathy and understanding.

Creative Fundraising Ideas

Engage your social network

You can engage your local community, friends and coworkers with events that are low-cost but high-impact:

  • “Donate Your Birthday”: Use social media tools (like Facebook or Instagram) to ask for donations to a specific charity in lieu of gifts.
  • The “$1 Campaign”: Challenge a large group (like a school or office) for everyone to give just $1. The collective power of a 1,000-person community can fund significant projects.
  • Virtual “Give Something Up”: Challenge yourself to give up a luxury for a month (e.g., coffee, gaming, or streaming services) and donate the saved money.
  • Bake Sales or Benefit Concerts : Traditional but effective. Partner with local businesses or talent to host a “Battle of the Bands” or a themed bake sale where proceeds go to your cause. teach empathy and understanding.
