Give Children a Brighter Future
House of Mercy in Cameroon – A Safe Home for Children
The House of Mercy in Ayos is a safe home for 27 children led by Catherine. Not having children of her own, Catherine opened her heart to those the world had forgotten. One by one, abandoned children found their way to her— drawn by the warmth of her spirit and the safety she offered despite her limited means.
Today, 27 children, ages 3 to 18, find safety and belonging at the House of Mercy. Many have lost their parents; others have faced abandonment or rejection. Here, each child is welcomed, valued, and given a chance at a brighter future.

Challenges in Meeting Essential Needs
Although filled with love, the orphanage faces ongoing challenges due to extremely limited resources.
Providing enough nutritious food for 27 growing children is a daily struggle, and the orphanage often lacks funds to purchase consistent food supplies.
Without outside support, meeting even the most basic needs would be a constant hardship.
Your support helps the House of Mercy to:
- Provide monthly food support for all 27 children
- Ensure regular, nutritious meals throughout the year
- Create stability so children can focus on education and personal growth
Impact of Good Samaritans Support
Thanks to the generous partnership of the Global Good Samaritans, Catherine and the children at House of Mercy have the nourishment they need to learn, grow, and thrive. Together, we have served over 3,300 meals to date.
Your support is the steady foundation they lean on every single day. Every meal served is a step toward a brighter future for Cameroon’s children.
